Last week we noted a survey that seemed to show that women’s thought processes were adversely affected by cold temperatures. We asked you if you were less productive in the cold, and over 70 percent of our female polltakers agreed. Over 56 percent of male polltakers agreed with that statement. We asked the same question about hot temperatures – while a greater group of people admitted being adversely affected by heat overall, the biggest part of that group was male. Only 38 percent of women said hot temperatures were likely to affect their productivity. Looking at the weather forecast for the upcoming few weeks, it looks like we’re all in for a less-productive winter.
