Poll Recap: How Often Do You Eat Out A Week?

Most recent studies reveal that Americans dine out multiple times a week. Younger age groups reported eating out more often than their elders and spending more when they did eat out[i].

Over fifty percent of Americans report eating out at least 2-3 times a week, and about ten percent eat out even more: 4-5 times a week.

Axiom readers are in tune with those responses. 43% of Axiom respondents indicated they eat out 1-3 times a week, and around 9% said they eat out 4 or 5 times a week.

Our readers are trendy because our readership skews older than those who responded to the national poll. Our responses tended to look like younger respondents – just one of many ways we act more youthful and energetic than our years.
