When it comes to commitment to retirement savings, our readers have locked theirs away in their own Fort Knox.

A recent poll indicated that over 50% of those polled had tapped into retirement savings early, but our readers proved to be more stalwart.

Less than 14% of our polltakers indicated they had touched their savings, demonstrating a resolve we love to see.

Of course there will be times when tapping retirement is the only way to deal with a catastrophe or tragedy. But understanding the value of letting your savings work for you is a critical part of planning for the future, and our readers seem to understand that.
