Facebook just launched Facebook News – the social network’s dedicated section that covers national and local news.
According to a recent study from Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University, more and more people are using social media platforms (primarily Instagram) to gather news. Surprisingly, there was only a small group of poll respondents that use Facebook and Twitter, with the majority of respondents saying that they do not use any social media platforms to access the news.
