Pokemon Go An Instant Hit For Nintendo
Nintendo’s new smartphone game Pokémon Go is barely a week old – but has turned out to be an instant hit. According to numbers published by Similar Web, the game is on track to overtake Twitter in terms of daily active users and is already being used more heavily than popular messaging apps. Nintendo’s stock price has increased by almost 25 percent during Monday’s trading in Tokyo, resulting in an $9.3 billion increase in the company’s market cap this week alone.
