Beginning May 15, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue will be allowing parents to claim a $100 rebate per child. Look for a Department of Revenue website to go live the 15th. Parents should have their child’s social security number, date of birth, and banking information ready when they visit.

- Under age 18 on December 31, 2017
- A dependent of the claimant for tax year 2017

During that period of time, items free of sales tax are:
- Clothing with a sales price of up to $75 per item
- School supplies with a sales price of up to $75 per item
- Computers with a sales price of up to $750
