investmentnewsInvestment News turned to Annex Wealth Management’s Director of Estate Planning for insight in two separate articles recently.

“The Most Important Part Of A Young Person’s Estate Plan” by Greg Iacurci focuses on the need for young people – anyone over 18 – to employ some estate planning strategies. The article’s timeliness is enhanced by the recent death of film actor Anton Yelchin, who had not made any arrangements for his estate.

Investment News provides Rich’s insights on why people as young as 18 should make estate arrangements, and why.

In “New Estate Rule Would Affect Tax Strategies Of Ultra-Wealthy,” Investment News writer Mark Schoeff Jr. discusses the Treasury department’s proposed regulation which was written to address tax-planning approaches that lower the stakes in corporations or partnerships.

While the subject matter applies to a smaller group of people, Investment News again relied on Behrendt’s insights on who would truly be affected by the proposed regulation.

This isn’t the first time Investment News has turned to Annex Wealth Management for analysis. Annex Wealth Management clients can know the difference through their access to Rich’s insights on their current estate plan or as they work with Rich to build a new plan.
